Missy Stewardson:
My 9 yr old son LOVES Daryle!
Jodi:
Thanks for the riding lessons! They are the best part of my week!!
Darla:
Just wanted to let you know my horse is doing amazing since our lesson and that I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you so much!! My horse has come 180 degrees since I've come for lessons. I have been bragging you up all over. Thanks again and have a great weekend.
Cara Linzmeyer:
Hey Daryle, I just wanted to drop you a note and let you know Nacho is doing great....you would have been impressed....Keeya had him backing up, trotting, loping and even sidepassing! Yes, even sidepassing! They are really bonding and doing well. Thanks again for everything you invested in Nacho. I'll keep in touch over the summer and make it down for some lessons! Thanks!
Devona:
I couldn't thank you enough for how Paschar turned out!!! He did amazing last Saturday even with all the excitement and distractions he stayed calm and relaxed!
Our dog is doing awesome. No more issues with her! I did not sell Paschar. I tried, but I just couldn't do it. He had the winter off & when I hopped on him this spring, & he acted as if he had no time off. I took him on the Ride-a-thon again this year & he was fantastic. Did anything I asked with no issues what so ever. I'm very pleased with him!
Cara:
Thank you for the lesson the other day.....you are an amazing teacher of children, not just horses!
Cheryl:
Get References!!!! - too many horror stories about trainers and what is actually happening to your horse. Daryle Schmidt is very good - my sister-in-law took a couple horses to him (all the way from Hinton too!!) and was very happy. Had him work with my daughter's dog - incredible!

I just wanted to send you a quick update and let you know just how impressed we are with Chia. She had a few things to work out when we first got her home but now she is really confident in showing Chia who is boss now! Chia responds very well to her.
We took her to Cadomin last weekend and she did amazing! Crossed rivers, climbed hills, camped!
I've been able to ride her a few times too and absolutely love her!
We have entered some Trail Horse Competitions ((ACTHA) and Keeya has won 1st and 5th place on her. Basically its a 5 mile or so trail ride with various obstacles - crossing a bridge, opening a gate, walking over a tarp, lifting a backpack out of a tree, etc. along the way. Of course my horse, Binou, who has done incredible things out in the mountains - far surpassing these obstacles on a difficulty scale - fails miserable under the pressure! But Chia just approaches all the obstacles with a calmness and willingness of a seasoned pro!
Thank you for all the hard work you put in to her!
High point winner: Keeya and Chia won the High Point year and award for the American competitive trail horse association meets we've been going to. She even won a pair of Cavello boots a few weekends ago for competing with the youngest horse! Everyone was shocked at how young Chia is because they are also impressed with her... And it was pretty cool that the youngest horse was ridden by the youngest rider!
Hope your fall is going well and thanks again for all the work you did with Chia!
Meg:
